A place to use as a stepping stone for further advancement in the substance abuse profession
Written by Substance Abuse Counselor (Former Employee) from Los Angeles, CA on November 19, 2014
My experience with the agency was that i was in the field 3 times out of the week and 2 days in the office. My schedule was very flexible and the opportunity to build clientele was at my discretion. I did however had to keep a minimum of 15-20 clients. The interaction with clients at the facility they resided in was more enjoyable and they didn't have - more ... to find the means to attend group therapy. Clients were more willing to disclose any concerns without having to worry about confidentiality laws being broken and the fear of being asked to leave. - less
ProsFlexible schedule
ConsA lot of documentation
