Every 'job' has its pros and cons. I am pleased that I was able to work through them all and to get the job done I was hired for.
Office Manager (Former Employee) –  Hackensack, NJ 07601February 12, 2018
My typical day as the Office Manager included handling the processing of purchase orders, ordering office supplies and office equipment and the processing of travel arrangements (both domestic and international) while maintaining a well organized work environment .

Over the years I developed a penchant for price negotiation and the ability to prioritize my many responsibilities, and a history of getting the 'job' done.

The most difficult part of the day was handling the processing of "rush" purchase orders as the system used required multiple approvals which sometimes delayed the ordering of hardware needed expeditiously.

Due to the many management changes the culture at the office had a feeling of uncertainty.

The most enjoyable part of the job was working with people of diverse cultures, and organizing the Holiday Parties which were always well attended.
Pros
Flexible time-off
Cons
No matching of 401K plan

Typical Consulting company grind
PHP Architect / Sr. Developer (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXDecember 3, 2017
Not great at understanding customer requirements. Lots of turnover. Tended to bring in unqualified candidates. The project I was on was over staffed and we sat around doing nothing (yet the client was charged). Was boring and didn't seem ethical

Productive place to work with great workplace culture
Delivery Excellence Consultant (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 23, 2017
- Typical day consist of video conferences, meetings, research, and providing solutions
- Learned new software, new strategies, who to reach out to for guidance
- Management is great...provide the objectives and expectations while insisting on balance of the project along with family life.
- Workplace culture is good...everyone is friendly and caring. Each person handles his/her objectives and come together to assist others as needed. There is rarely stress due to not meeting deadlines as updates are usually provided throughout the project.
The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to know people on a personal level. Learning about their significant others and hanging out with them at a company function is an enjoyable part of the job. Exceeding on a project and celebrating it is also and enjoyable part of the job.

Good salary.Good culture, Good management. Salary information you provide is completely anonymous and will not be shown with your review. A note is a financial security that generally has a longer term than a bill but a shorter term than a bond. U.S. Treasury notes, for example, are sold in $100 increments, pay interest in six-month intervals and pay investors face value upon maturity. There are numerous types of notes, including mortgage-backed notes, unsecured notes, municipal notes, bank notes, euro notes, promissory notes, demand notes and structured notes.
