Counselor in Florida
on November 4, 2022

Job itself is straightforward, but difficult due to high turnover rate, and lack of adequate support staff. Great to see positive outcomes with patients, but hard to keep up with all responsibilities including huge caseloads, counseling, case management, maintaining coordination of care, answering phones, timely documentation, and a constant stream of patients ( not necessarily yours) needing support or assistance. Would be great position with adequate staffing, and reasonable caseloads

It is a solid place to work. Stressful but the other employees make it worth it. Definitely a good place to start you career but hard to maintain long term

Counselor in Manchester, NH

What is the best part of working at the company? Helping others get second chances in life. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The number of clients suffering. Counselor in Augusta, GA
on October 25, 2022

What is the best part of working at the company? The patients only. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Management is unprofessional and things are constantly changing. Toxic work environment. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very toxic. Upper management does not fight for their employees. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Meetings literally everyday while trying to manage a caseload of 50 plus patients. We had to meet a certain number of “productivity” minutes per day. It was unrealistic.

Counselor VI, LMHC in Jacksonville, FL

Nothing good to say. Very unprofessional. Never been in a work environment where the supervisor of a clinical unit had only a bachelor's degree, did not know addictions, and constantly left door open and unattended for any patient to go in and out of the office. Other counselors liked to talk about each other and cause problems. Not a good place to work but the pay is more for unlicensed persons because of for profit.
