What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at New Story?

Ask many questions about the position and types of duties you would be involved in so you can determine if this is the type of work you are passionate about. Remember, you are interviewing us as much as we are interviewing you. This is challenging work but very rewarding as you will make a huge difference in the lives of our students/clients. The biggest reason people continue to work at New Story is the kids and the great working relationships they have with their peers. The Western Region has locations in DuBois, Indiana, Monroeville and Clearfield and our utmost concern is the safety of our students and staff.

Discuss the negative aspects of the job. (Ie. Crisis, restraints, behaviors.) Unfortunately, alot of the students come from abuse/neglect. They have unstable lives. You will see and hear heart breaking things. Discuss these aspects to ensure this is something you are interested in.
