They say "destination brewery", but it's all about making money, not the beer
Server (Former Employee) –  Victor, NYApril 10, 2019
Great team, but if you want to make money you have to be one of the favorites.

You can never find a manager on a shift.

Not easy to pickup shifts because everyone is looking to pick them up. There could be five or six servers all trying to grab the shift posted

While they say they are a brewery, they were always out of beers. There was never a full beer menu.

I would not recommend anyone I know to this company. Not FOH or BOH.
Pros
Potential to make good money if you are one of the favorites
Cons
Only get scheduled for lucrative shifts if you are a favorite

Sucks, not a great working enviroment
Line Cook/Prep Cook (Former Employee) –  Victor, NYApril 1, 2019
If you like being yelled at by chef besnik then this place is for you, he doesn't care for anybody but himself, he thinks he is better then everyone, no respect. The food is sub par, haccp is not being followed correctly, food products just sitting out all day, no proper cooling of sauces, just, put in the walk in hot, When the employees go on a smoke break they smoke pot near the dumpsters and management doesn't say a thing.

For it being the craft beer industry, the owners only seem to be in it for the money. Head brewer is fantastic, they just don’t like beer (They’re always drinking wine rather than their own product). Everything is micromanaged and hostile. Some management is great while others are some of the worst I’ve ever seen in the industry.
Pros
Usually pretty busy
Cons
Hostile and micromanaged

A real life kitchen nightmare
Dishwasher (Former Employee) –  Lockport, NYMarch 19, 2019
This was by far the worst job I've ever had the displeasure of working. To start, you don't get any training whatsoever, they literally throw you on the dish machine and expect you to figure out where everything goes from then on. You get soaked and dirty real quick. The kitchen staff is entirely loud between shouting out orders and shouting over the music they shouldn't be playing in the first place. Management? Nowhere to be found. I met about 5 different managers and the only time I saw them for anything was to clock in and clock out because you need a swipe card to do so. Their working quarters are so tight, dish water was splashing into food and the line cooks didn't even care, they served it out anyway. Absolutely disgusting. Hours were also terrible even if someone called it, it just made the day twice as long. It shocks me how this place is still open because management is a complete joke and everyone is always running around in circles around each other from open to close.
Pros
They offered you a free beer at the end of your shift
Cons
Literally everything

Poor management with ridiculous scheduling
Line Cook (Former Employee) –  Lockport, NYFebruary 17, 2019
There's a reason this job is always posted. They expect you to work 3 12 hour shifts in a row and then won't give any hours another week. Will not give you time off when needed regardless of situation. There is no balance in the kitchen and is a miserable job in general.

Dining Waitress (Current Employee) –  Victor, NYFebruary 6, 2019
I just began working here so it's hard to tell, seems like a very fun atmosphere! The business should be huge when it officially opens doors, it should be fun!

Productive and fast pace work place
Bartender (Current Employee) –  Lockport, NYJanuary 20, 2019
It is always a very busy and fast pace work day when you are here. There is always an upbeat mood throughout the entire restaurant. Between the high volume and the large amount of people they are a great place to work.

Understaffed
Dishwasher (Former Employee) –  Lockport, NYOctober 29, 2018
I was willing to work, but it became overwhelming because it was understaffed. I always showed up on time and didn't call off and while there worked to the best of my ability.
Cons
Overworked

This brewery has an awesome culture built around food and beer. With the large space it rests there is alot of activities to enjoy after a shift. All the guests are very nice people and the staff is fun always.

Kitchen Manager (Former Employee) –  Lockport, NYFebruary 5, 2018
Fast pasted environment, where work ethic, organization, and people skill are a must. This is not and easy place to work. This is a performance based kitchen. If you do not keep up you are out.
