It depends on what position you are seeking. Both Principal and Assistant Principal positions are guided by the Chancellor’s C-30 Regulation Process. Teachers are recruited in many ways: (#1) - Sometimes through a “Demo Lesson.” (#2) - Sometimes there is such a shortage in the License Area, they take anyone with a pulse and get him/her certified over time. (#3) - Sometimes it is through a friend-of-a-friend.
It depends on the Position being sought and the needs of a particular School and the regulations for that interview process.
