The management could care less that our jobs pay less than some drive thru restaurants. They dont care about the complaints you have. Its pretty much just suck it up or move on. Needless to say alot of employees have and are moving on. Anybody thats stayed definitely aint doin it for the money (myself included). They barely listen to the resident's wants. Everything is about money. Filling them empty rooms fast as they can. No matter that theres only 1 LPN most nights on the MC/AL side to 62 patients and 3 tecs. Yeah you read it right, i said 62. Thats why i said WE DONT GET PAID ENOUGH FOR WHAT WE HAVE TO DO.
Everything is stressful here picking up after day shifts mess and when you have falls they treat you like its your fault and that you could of prevent it like we really enjoyed doing all the paperwork, maybe if I had less than 16 pts falls rate would be less. Even to deal with kitchen staff they are very rude and do not do their jon correctly always late on trays and they take forever to bring something when it gets called in most of the time you have to go get it yourself and they still have a bad attitude.
