We need to submit a CV, then wait for the screening from direct manager and HR Department.
After that the interviewing from the business director who receive the service, then last one the Director board.
It's quite convenient as long as you have capability

It took about a week to put in my application, get a call back and interview then find out when I start training, (which happened to be the next week)
heavy hiring starts around summer and the beginning of the year.

If Nielsen is hiring for a cycle, when a person inquires about a position, within a day or two they receive a call and brief interview. Then they are asked to come in later that same week for an interview/skill evaluation, and start date depends. In my hiring class right after the skill evaluation we were told we were hired and went straight to training that very same day. Usually from inception it takes 1-2 weeks.
I was required to be a contractor for a few months first

In most cases you get hired the same day. However they do check backgrounds and give drug test...
