The most useful review selected by IndeedI have no problems with the company Aside from the fact nepotism is throughout the company, they were headquartered in Newcastle DE and always left me alone.

Good luck
Production Supervisor (Former Employee) - East Hartford, CT - November 21, 2023
Don’t apply here unless you want your time wasted. Went through 3 interviews here. Never heard and never got a call back telling me either way what they decided, just them reposting the job online. The warehouse was dump during the walk through and resembled a sweat shop atmosphere. Good luck if you apply here.

You can learn a lot here
Management (Current Employee) - Beltsville, MD - October 22, 2023
The company have a very good values, pay it is ok. The shift are ok, in my case is 8 hours Monday to Friday. Sometimes you have to work maybe three Saturdays by year, you have some Holidays by tear.

Working here was my lowest low in my career
Territory Manager (Former Employee) - Beltsville, MD - September 6, 2023
Terrible work environment with bullies and cliques. I hated being here and always felt unwelcome. The manager is buddies with some of the team members and they all drink way too much. Everyone drinks at forced company parties and there is a heavy Christian undertone.
Pros
Easy
Cons
Terrible management

It sucks!
Production Worker/ QC (Former Employee) - Cleburne, TX - August 13, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The people who worked there . Management sucked and mistreated people not on their favorite list. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management. They weren't very helpful and spent most of their time in the offices. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Ad long as you were a yes person, you had it easy. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Working any where but where I was supposed to be. I had a specific job, but wasn't allowed to do my own job.

Overwhelming, fast paced and not that rewarding.
Accounts Receivables/Collections (Current Employee) - New Castle, DE - July 31, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Been working here for 180 days. The pay is good. It pays weekly. The hours are not bad. No weekends. The department I work in is very complex and not all the team members are welcoming and willing to help. The manager is decent, willing to work with you. That would be my only complaint. There is alot of work to be done and alot is expected out you. The co workers, a couple on my team. Are the nicest. The owners are kind and humble. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The co workers and the duties. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Each person's experience is different..some departments I see the vibe is really good. Not the one I work in. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Busy and overwhelming at times. Must be ready to problem solve. Must be a fast learner.

What is the best part of working at the company? Some great coworkers. Quitting was the best part. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Managers are terrible and performance reviews were shady. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It just really wasn’t very good at all. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Work was pretty simple but made terrible by a poorly placed manager.

Meh
Route Service Representative (Current Employee) - Beltsville, MD - June 17, 2022
You don’t necessarily get any support or appreciation from management and internal growth is lackluster with positions being linear and a tedious process, management is terrible and you’ll be on your own after your paid training.

RSRs are the only fun part of this job
RSR Driver (Former Employee) - Beltsville, MD - May 31, 2022
The drivers here make your day a little better but besides that you are on your own, this company just adds work duties with no additional pay, they also cut your route and people who been here for years get a pay cut never heard of a company do that but you're practically on your own.

Management and HR make this place suck
Soil Sorter (Former Employee) - Cleburne, TX - May 25, 2022
Absolutely loved my job and loved the employees we all worked very hard as a team to make the company look good as the managers take you for granted and either run off or fire good employees. Go to a manager with a problem and you become the problem they will do whatever it takes to get rid of you go to HR with a problem about your pay and they tell you they don't know what you're talking about get hurt on the job you might as well find a new job they make your life miserable.

I love that we get paid weekly build strong relationships with customers and fellow employees.
RSR Driver (Current Employee) - Beltsville, MD - April 20, 2022
I honestly think this company could be one of the top fortune 500 companies in America. But the poor management from top to bottom is undeniable. The management is more enforcers than mangers not all but majority. Production and service not on the same page at all and safety is a big issue as well as turnover and leadership. The culture here is horrific so it trumps the policy. If Nixon truly wants to to be in the fortune 500 conversation it has to change its culture, expectations, and invest more into there employees. They need more diversity at the cooperate level or a union because there's no accountability or discipline for management failures and short comings, training etc.
Pros
Paid weekly, no weekends
Cons
overworked, underpaid, No raises

Pros
None

Management was terrible.
Route Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Dallas, TX - December 23, 2021
The most unorganized company I’ve ever worked for. The Dallas management team has no idea what they’re doing. Everyday we had a problems and instead of trying to fix it they would just deal with it on a day to day basis. They want you to go above and beyond for no extra pay while they won’t help you with anything.
