Cook/Prep Cook/Cashier (Current Employee) - Sterling, VA - June 17, 2018
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood job to start if you don't want to start off working at a fast food place. The pay Is pretty decent if you are still living with your parents. A second job would help if you're on your own.

Medium pace workplace that is great for young people in high school and college.
Grill Cook (Former Employee) - Grand Rapids, MI - September 19, 2023
My time at Noodle company was great. The company was very accommodating and understandable when it came to emergencies and short notice absences. All the company required you to do is to find a replacement for that day. Another thing is that the benefits working with Noodle company are great, not as good for younger workers but still good. Only cons where that my manager did not communicate a problem with me that force me to quite my job. The whole situation was understandable but slightly frustrating.
Pros
1 paid lunch/dinner, relaxed and dutiful management
Cons
Demanding environment, slow progression

stressful. Burned out. Over worked and under paid. Needs change. Employee's quit everyday.
Shift Manager (Current Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - September 16, 2023
Typically comes in as a closing supervisor; no communication from the other managers. Everyone is running around, unorganized, and stressed, nobody asks for help. Leaving an unsuccessful shift set up for the night crew. Employees are called no-shows and the GM is okay with that. GM favors certain managers over others. I also don't think it's fair to run a business with just 3 employees. Friday and Saturday nights are busy and get hectic cause we don't have enough staff on duty, due to labor cuts. This is how we lose good employees. GM oversees good employees.
Pros
Free lunches.. benefits..
Cons
poor leadership, understaffed, miscommunication..

Fair
Payroll Specialist (Former Employee) - Broomfield, CO - September 14, 2023
Fair place to work. Good benefits, 50% off meals. Test Kitchen. Summits every couple of years. Training for HQ employees in the Restaurant for a few days after starting.

Fine
Cashier (Former Employee) - Broomfield, CO - September 13, 2023
It was fine. Just the causal noodle place that you go and work in the kitchen or cash. Great place to go for starting out and you just need a few quick bucks

Fun workplace, good coworkers, iffy compensation
Team Member (Former Employee) - Littleton, CO - September 8, 2023
My typical day at work on this job was very clear and to the point. I was scheduled for my designated station before arrival, meaning I knew exactly what prep had to happen and when. My coworkers were excellent; they were amazing people who knew how to get the job done and support one another. My main gripe with this position was the compensation and selective treatment. There was a noticeable difference in the way certain employees were treated, partial toward new hires. Despite working at this company for a year, and after learning every non-managerial station and covering most shifts I was asked to cover, I was never given or offered a raise. This, coupled with the way different policies were enforced differently depending on person, led to my departure. Management needed some work, but the work was fulfilling and educational, and the people were stellar.
Pros
Good coworkers, fun work, clear schedule
Cons
Iffy management, no pay raises, selective treatment

Room to grow, fun experience
GM (Current Employee) - Columbus, OH - September 2, 2023
It’s a good job but after a while you get burned out. Slightly more expected from you than you are paid for. Great higher management. Hours are so floppy it’s hard to have a set schedule.

Only can review one location
Assistant General Manager (Former Employee) - Franklin, TN - August 22, 2023
I was hired as a AGM. First day, I waited outside the store for an hour before anyone showed up. The GM, while a super nice guy, had no idea how to onboard a salary employee and had no control of the young staff at his location. I honestly feel bad for him. Corporate support seems almost nonexistent. While the job itself is easy, for a organized person and someone who likes policy and procedures, the lack of professionalism I experienced during my short time there was enough to make me leave. Again, I felt bad for the GM as he doesn’t seem to have adequate support from higher ups
Pros
Not complicated, good benefits and free meals
Cons
Lack of communication and unprofessional behavior allowed

Terrible work environment with low pay
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Overland Park, KS - August 2, 2023
general manager is extremely unprofessional at oak park no flexible schedules very stressful Noodles and Company can be considered a challenging place to work for several reasons. Firstly, the fast-paced nature of the restaurant industry often leads to high-stress environments, and employees at Noodles and Company may find themselves overwhelmed by the constant rush and demanding customer expectations. Additionally, the company's management style and employee policies might not prioritize work-life balance, causing employees to experience burnout and fatigue. Reports of inadequate staffing levels and limited opportunities for advancement could also contribute to a sense of stagnation and job dissatisfaction among workers. Furthermore, the wages and benefits offered might not be competitive, leading to financial strain for employees. Overall, the combination of demanding work conditions, lack of career growth prospects, and subpar compensation can make Noodles and Company a challenging and undesirable place to work for many individuals.
Pros
free food
Cons
almost everything

Not horrible
Cook (Former Employee) - Loveland, CO - August 1, 2023
It’s always busy and at times could be hard to keep up, but the other employees made the job more fun. Getting free food for your break is always a plus too, if you like their food.

Pay issues!! Used to be fun and productive!
Assistant General Manager (AGM) (Current Employee) - Fort Collins, CO - July 30, 2023
Honestly companies should never promote or hire people to work the same position and give one of them more per hour! I have been an AGM and pretty much running my restaurant for 1.5 years! I dkk ok but all bc I care! But seeing someone who does a fraction of the work I do get promoted at a way higher rate than you do really sucks! There are shift manager taking home a lot more money than me and they don’t listen or do their jobs correctly! I have been told my raise was going to happen twice now and it hasn’t! I don’t get tips because of the quarterly bonus but it’s laughable when I get a bonus for 100 bucks and my paychecks barely break 1000 bucks! I can’t pay rent or really anything! I gave my all to a company that
Pros
Some of the coworkers, including a former student

Low pay, expensive benefits, outdated restraint r

Fun work place great people to work with and always room to grow within company
Assistant General Manager (Current Employee) - Hagerstown, MD - July 14, 2023
Noodles is not like other companies where it takes years to move up for any type of promotion. Noodles acknowledges great work and will promote you based off the work you have put in no matter how long you been there.
Pros
Benefits and room to grow within company
Cons
