Raises are based on Performance review by group of supervisors and managers. Twice a year you are given a performance review. Not all supervisor is willing to have formal one on one which tells the employee what he/she needs to work on. It is up to the employee to seek out this information if the one on one does not occur.
A raise will happen once a year, unless you have a strong support group that will put you in for a raise and it is approved.

If I were in charge I would have continued to have Noramco part of Johnson & Johnson. Being part of a large corporation is beneficial as there are more opportunities for advancement and personal development. Salaries are also higher.

You must have your week vac time put in at Jan 10 of the first wave,and the second half in by Feb. I had about 5 weeks of vac from my years of servers.
