The work environment in my opinion is somewhat laid back. This job is based on numbers goal. So it's as laid back as long as production exceeds expectation. Not 100% reliable.

The work can get dull depending on what project you are on but largely it is interesting.
A major issue is that you are sedentary, either sitting or standing, for long periods in non-ergonomic chairs so don't expect comfort.
The culture is actually a good thing here, the employees and supervisors are great and friendly folks. Even the HR people are great and that's a shock lol.
The organization strives for a professional attitude but also encourages a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This is research, not business.
