Incredible company culture with people who truly care about your growth and success

The North American Plastics intern program fully immerses interns in their location and provides them the resources necessary to succeed in their roles. The workload is appropriate but flexible, giving the interns the opportunity to dive into their interest areas and pursue projects that are interesting to them with the best interest of the company in mind. This allows interns to implement new ideas or selling techniques at their location and gives them the chance to truly make an impact. There is a close relationship between interns and managers, as managers have chosen to take on an intern and mentor them throughout their summer program. This hands-on, immersive, and idea-welcoming environment makes the learning experiences in the NAP intern program extremely valuable for the interns' professional development, networking, and sales and business skills. Interns are also sent on multiple trips for training programs which allows for additional networking and socialization with other participants in the program, and makes the summer dynamic and exciting. The company culture is truly what stands out about any role at North American Plastics. As an intern, I felt so welcomed by each person in the office, no matter how "high-up" their role was. Executives participate in each level of the business, so people in all positions get to interact with executives and learn from them, making the opportunity for full-time offers or promotions very attainable. Anytime I am surrounded by employees at North American Plastics, I feel welcomed, valued, encouraged, and like an important member -

Fun Workplace Environment with Managers Who Care

I started with North American Plastics shortly after graduating College. This company has been a place to grow my skills and career. I’m so thankful to work with a company who values me as an individual and to be able to learn and grow from my mentors.

Great culture and full of opportunity

NAP is a great company to work for. NAP offers you many opportunities to learn and grow your skills sets. The culture is relaxed and easy to be yourself. I love constantly doing new things and working with lots of different departments and people.

Fantastic Company!

I have been with NAP for over 7 years and this was the best place to start my career. The profit sharing is uncapped and people truly care about each other. The company continues to grow and I see a long future here. Training programs give sales representatives exposure to the executive team and several of my coworkers have been promoted into management roles. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Growing company

I've worked for North American Plastics for a few years now and could not be happier. I've never felt so valued at a company before. Pay is strong with a solid base salary and profit sharing. Would recommend this company to anyone!

Pay is very low and cheating employees

Whatever your salary is, you only make 70% to 80% of it. At the end of the year (if you are atill there) in March of wach year you get a big check called profit share. This is supposed to be a bonus, incentive, and additional pay but the executive use ot as a leverage to keep you down and work hard to make the rest of your income in March of every year. We have no control over sales as the corporate headquarters office people we are not in sales and only do office work. And if the companydoes not sonwell then that mean yoi get the rest of your income.

IT is a toxic work environment

IT is a toxic work environment that is enabled by the executive team. Left and grew somewhere else. Worked for a bad boss that still works there. If you are looking for experience, diversity, and an IT team that embraces youth, do what I did and succeed somewhere else.

Staff Accountant

Management for staff at the HQ really cares about your career. Executives and managers were personable and valued personal well being over outcomes and performance. Family environment.

Not fun

One 10 minute and another 20 minute break for a 10 hour shift, employees are not nice at all, the lunch area consists of a 3 broken down looking dirty chairs in the middle of the warehouse. I feel like I'm gonna quit or get fired anyways, I'll see how long I can put up with this .

No Growth. Bad Management. No Loyalty

If you are in the IT field, I would go somewhere else. High employee turnaround. Horrible management especially by the CIO. Worst boss in the company. Highly disdained. No room to grow intellectually with IT. The field users are the best part. They are what makes the company great. They pay you under market value and once you leave, they treat you like a number with no loyalty.

Great company, poor management

While the company as a whole was good, the management was not. Management would micromanage the entire team and talk to department in a very demeaning manner. They had a great yearly bonus and competitive pay.

No growth

Want to be somewhere I can have a future. Don't want to be in the same spot years down the line. Want to grow inside of the company. Want my work to be appreciated.

It was a great learning experience for me.

It is a plastic extrusion factory, not a bad place to work as far as factory work goes and like all plastic manufacturing factories it is very fast paced work. NORAMCO/North American Plastics Inc.

good place to work
