Full time employees earn 10 days of sick leave for personal illness or family (spouse, child, parent) illness/death per year at full pay cumulative to a total of 45 days during the first ten years of employment. Sick leave is earned at the rate of one day per month of employment, not to exceed ten days during the fiscal year. After one year of employment, ten days sick leave is credited in advance at the beginning of the fiscal year.
