As an intern, going to work everyday at this agency provided me with many challenges and rewards in the services this organization provides to the community. Although it was quite stressful at times due to the various stages of crisis clients of the facility were in, the rewards come when clients move past their crisis status and begin to positively address their mental health and substance use issues. The staff is dedicated to giving the clients the best possible care within the realm of what this agency can provide.

The reason for leaving this organization was because my internship and educational goals had been achieved. I would truly consider working for this agency on a permanent basis however the commute was quite daunting at times (85 miles one way). Future inquiries may be considered if I cannot find employment opportunities closer to my home of record.

Different. First I was interviewed by the supervisor of the department. Then by the other employees in the department. It was comfortable and not intimidating .
