Lack of support from management. They never helped the unit staff, not even to offer a meal break. They were useless at “codes” they NEVER bothered to respond to questions from staff. Left emails, text messages and showed up to speak to then and they just don’t care

Embarrassed. There is no way to explain how bad things really were while avoiding consequences

Lack of staff support from management, nurse supervisors, director of nursing, HR. New staff barely finished orientation and they would quit the 1st day on a unit. Always short staffed so working OT (was always asked to stay late or come in early). Communication was/is very bad. Never been anywhere in my career like this place

Have you got experience

My interview was easy. In fact, the person interviewing me was doing multiple other tasks during the interview. She only asked me 2 questions, and they were easy (like am I okay with working weekends). The rest of the time she was on her computer sending emails, answering phone, kept her door open so people kept coming in to talk to her. I just smiled and didn’t let it bother me, but it was very rude. Then she gave me a quick tour. A friend of mine didn’t get the job, but she asked the director some challenging questions. So it seems they like people that are going to say Yes ma’am and Yes sir, and not rock the boat. I would recommend not even going to the interview because it isn’t a pleasant or safe place to work. However, if you really need the job, I would just go in positive and don’t make it seem like you will be one to question their horrible and backwards policies or procedures.

There is no true process. All of the directors group vote on raises and you basically have to wait until someone leaves to get promoted.

Just stay clean enough to pass. Majority of techs there are on some type of street drug.

Never since working there. When I asked about a raise I was told to “Get a job offer for more money and then we’ll talk” from the HR manager.

You do not. There is no opportunity for growth. No annual salary review.
