Very busy atmosphere at times and can be stressful when patient's have a behavioral episode. Constant changes in patient's conditions in regards to withdrawals. Admissions and discharges are common on all shifts.

For profit facility with very poor management. If you want a psych position , go elsewhere. Some positions are easier than others but overall not a good place to work. This place will never go to EMAR and the communication is horrendous.

Enjoyed working with most other co-workers. The real problem there is with management. They don't listen or work with their employees even in regards to dangerous work conditions, even pertaining to patient safety. I was there for 2 years and saw many directors leave including 3 CEOs. There is no culture or care unfortunately because this place could actually be great.

Co-workers are pleasant. Facility clean. Too much turnover of management. Management ineffective in meeting staffing needs. Improper use of Mental Health Techs, they are not certified or licensed to carry out psychiatric or substance abuse counseling groups.

Please don't work here, you will be underappreciated and overworked. They never do anything for their techs expect write them up for doing their jobs or making them do groups that therapist should be doing. They refuse to use agency techs or nurse if they are short staffed because they don't want to take money out of their CEO's pocket yet they are building a new building so where did the money come from I thought they didn't have any money. Some of the people that are in higher positions don't even have bachelor's yet they expect you to have that before you apply pretty much you have to know somebody in the higher ups ex: kissing up to someone for a promotion. You work 12 hours shifts but only be a 30 minute break and there isn't any close food places, you would expect them to offer food for free to employees but no you have to pay for your food. BEWARE if you want holidays off and you put it in months in advance, they will not let you get the holiday off even though you requested it off months in advance because they fired people and don't even replace them and expect you to work. They are too dumb to use agency for the holiday because they are so cheap. Please don't work here there is a reason why the turnover rate is so high, much more places to can work at where you can get paid more.
