I applied for a job and over a month later I got called in for an interview. It turned out that the job I applied for was taken down soon after I sent in my resume, but by the time HR read my resume, someone else with that same job title in the same department also quit, and so I wound up at the top of the pile, oddly enough.

I interviewed twice with the head of the faculty paper. I was given a writing test, which verified I could write in AP Style. I was also asked a series of questions about my approach to writing campus news, and we discussed how I'd fit into the culture of the environment.
