Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Florence, KYMay 11, 2018
Salary is low but free benefits. Poor management. Treated like a warm body in a seat instead of a valued employee. Would not recommend working here...

Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Florence, KYDecember 1, 2017
The ADD was a very family type atmosphere among the staff. It a great agency to get your foot in the door as it relates to social services as a case manager or manager. The job is not stressful and is very rewarding.

Very positive and friendly work environment
Case Management (Former Employee) –  Florence, KYOctober 6, 2017
NKADD is a very positive organization to
work for. Salary isn't the best but the benefits largely make up for that. Some flexibility with regard to work hours depending on position. Great managers and coworkers who are always willing to help. A number of employees have been with NKADD for many years which says something.
Pros
Positive work environment
Cons
Salaries are on the low side

High work loads
Case Manager/Senior Care Services (Former Employee) –  Florence, KYMarch 30, 2017
HIgh work volume. Not enough work hours in a day to complete work loads in Case Management Department. Productivity is based on output numbers only not on a job well done.

CDO (Current Employee) –  Florence, KYMarch 28, 2017
Very informative company to work for, I have thus far learned a lot about people living with disabilities, and have met a large amount of people who care about what is going on in their lives.

Great for low income families needing health care.
Home Health Care Aide (Former Employee) –  Florence, KYAugust 26, 2013
This is a in home health care, paid by state for low income based families. They do not provide health care aide, you have to have one, but then they take care of pay checks. Management is just okay, not great at explaining details, but there if any problems or questions. No co-workers, you work alone with only your patient, for attendant care, and or respite care. The enjoyable part of the job is just being a nurse aide, and taking care of someone that really needs it. The hardest part of the job is when it ends, and the patient passes, or has to go to the nursing home.
Pros
In home care, usually family or friend is your boss.
Cons
Slow pase work, and only you and one other person.
