#1 culture is everything. No one it seems works for the company, they work for programs. You don’t value your employees time when you ask them to flex their time to attend all hands meetings with leadership, training classes, lunch. Really? You advertise a 9/80 work week but then surprise employees with the fact that it is an 10/80 week if they want to take lunch and add any additional hours to your day if you want to attend any training or leadership meeting. Expecting people to work weekends as if they don’t have families, it’s ok , once and a while and if it’s called for but managers want employees to be at their beck and Call and not pay their employees for it.

The ideals and values of the corporation do not always flow down to the working employee. That happens when management's personal objectives and ideas become the most important. Just treat people honestly and deal with them as valuable individuals.
