The managers will all tell you that Northwestern is growing. That is what they are told say. However while the company grows they cut everything. They keep merging and when that happens they look for other areas to cut. I have worked for this company for 14 years and every time they merge something gets cut. Unless you are in upper management there is no growth or promotion. One pet peeve I have is that they make you fill out your own review and expect you to have it done by a certain time yet they can't even tell their employees if they are getting a raise. They should be prepared for the review just like they expect there employees to be. Our reviews were several weeks ago and yet no word of raises. They say that they want transparency but it is the other way around. Secrets, lies, and no transparency.
