Not always being fully trained for tasks but being expected to 'figure it out'.

Favoritism and hostility among co-workers. Overall, working at NSU was an amazing personal and career development which prepared me for the corporate world. Thank you for all the negative and positive experiences.

The pay is the major problem. The pay is about 10 to 26% lower than the national average for any position at Nova Southeastern University.

I would say the most stressful part I remember about working for NSU was the expectation from other co-workers about your own personal career goals. There's some unspoken peer pressure that makes you feel like you have to live up to everyone else's standards. I was young and inexperienced and they made sure to make me feel that way on a regular basis. If I went back today, I feel as though I might be judged for not having accomplished more in the time that I've been gone.
