I was employed for 5 months as an Underwriter Support Assistant, who never interfaced with clients, and I was approached by a Manager of Novitex questioning me about my head wrap. The wrap was to decrease illness contracted from being employed in a building that was having issues regulating the temperature. Individuals were coming to work with colds and flu-like symptoms that were being suppressed upon the entire department. Overcoats, scarfs/wraps and gloves were the only satisfaction of warmth.
After questioning employees who had been in the department for 5yrs my inquiring revealed they were forced to be subjected to this treatment!!!

People here wear pretty much what they want and management does nothing about it. Those yoga pants should be banned from the work place.

In London, KY, dress is very casual. You can wear jeans but no rips or stains. No sweats, pajamas or scrubs, sleeveless tops, graphic tees with anything political or religious. Leggings are iffy, but many people get away with it by wearing a long shirt or short dress over them. I've seen co-workers get criticized by supervisors for wearing low cut tops, sweats, sleeveless tops and political t-shirts. They didn't send them home, but made them reverse political t-shirts or cover bare shoulders. You also can't wear flip flops or sandles due to safety issues, which are highly unlikely.
