Director, Infrastructure and Global Operations (Former Employee) – San Jose, CA – April 29, 2018
Very open culture with caring executive team with focus on customer satisfaction, great product, and great work atmosphere...It was great to work with individuals, teams, and management team focused on delivering a great product among fierce competition from very large institutional players.
Collaborative work atmosphere
Crazy busy due to growth which actually is a good thing
Finance (Former Employee) – San Jose, CA – January 24, 2018
DO NOT join the finance or Corproate FP&A team here at Nutanix! The mid-level leadership team is horrible and has really weird expectations. Management expects you to work 16 hour days, in-office work on the weekend and no PTO even for family functions. Mid-level Management on the non-sales side lacks emotional intelligence and has no empathy for any of their employees. Extremely two faced and talks smack behind …
A challenging company with great future and opportunities
Senior Director (Former Employee) – San Jose, CA – December 21, 2017
Nutanix is a great place for any ambitious, motivated and highly skilled individuals looking to challenge themselves to learn and potentially thrive. Highly competent professionals to work with. Require significant investment of time and focus to succeed. Not for everyone.
Excellent benefits, competent and unique individuals to work with

Great culture with an emphasis on customer support. Highly technical environment with engineers all coming from major IT companies. Linux, networking, virtualization, and storage knowledge are all needed.
TEMP/CONTRACT POSITIONS (Current Employee) – San Jose, CA – April 17, 2017
Nutanix is a great place to work and has a very fast paced, fun culture. You will work many hours as the jobs are quite demanding and they are trying to accomplish a lot. Management is fair and people are motivated to work toward a common goal.
Sales Development Representative (Former Employee) – Durham, NC – January 16, 2017
- A typical day was spent mostly on the phone and emailing prospective clients who were looking to upgrade their SANs - I learned a lot at Nutanix; primarily how to multitask, coordinate smoothly with different teams and setting meetings via cold calling for them to do demonstrations, among other things - My co-workers were extremely dedicated and hard working; they all were engaging and professional - The hardest part of the job was the rejection I received from prospective clients but that helped me develop thicker skin, improve my approach to intriguing them into a meeting, and making sure I knew the answers to any questions they may pose on the front end - The most enjoyable part of the job was the culture, team environment and the various resources readily available providing training and learning

It's a very exciting workplace! In true start-up fashion, there's always a fire put out somewhere, but the culture thrives on the set pace. The culture in general is good and is being maintained fairly well for how fast we've grown and are growing. Change does happen, albeit slowly. There's also free food, massages, beer bashes, and GREAT health benefits!
Free food, massages, health benefits, unlimited paid time off
