I have learned a lot and have had an overall great experience here. There were some headaches and management changes that eventually got resolved. The doctors have mostly been pleasant to work with.

Admitting and Recovery Nurse (Current Employee) –  Portland, ORApril 14, 2018
Good work life balance, coworkers always willing to switch shifts if life happens. Managers are always willing to work with your schedule and you only work 4 days a week to that's a bonus.

I enjoyed my time with NW gastro, it was a good and educational clinic to work for. They had a good team to work with. The MD's were approachable and extremely helpful.

great place to work
CMA/Technician (Current Employee) –  Portland, ORMay 26, 2016
awesome place to work for a medical assistant. You get to be more hands on and working with drs, than just a regular clinic where you are mainly doing vitals and just charting.

Very fun easy going work environment. Owner was very easy to work with. Hardest part of the job was difficulty getting contracts consistently. Co-workers and patients were all very easy to work with.

Good people and good place;patients left happy
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Bellevue, WAMarch 27, 2013
Really busy, fun place to work. The patients were usually scared and nervous when they came in and the staff had a way of lightening the mood.
The other co-workers were focused on patient care more than gossip.
The hardest part of the job was getting the equipment ready for the number of procedures we performed. It had to be sanitized, some sterilized and kept patients waiting
There was a lot of laughter every day
Pros
working environment positive
Cons
keeping up with the demand of equipment
