Work & Life Balance

Receptionist in Altamonte Springs, FL
on April 12, 2021
I enjoy coming to work most days, the culture is very family oriented and I feel that my coworkers care for me. I also love the kids and families here at O2B Kids. The only issue is that we are always short staffed.

Great place to work at, great management core with a caring heart and deep understanding for the staff they have. Everyday you will always have very interesting days with your classroom rountines.
Teacher Assistant in Boynton Beach, FL

I was so excited to work here and I’m only a week and the infant teachers are rude they expect perfection with little to no training. I have been telling the director I want a different age group yet I’m still with the infants. I got to work with anxiety not because I’m my job with children but because of the co workers.

During the interview process O2B seems like the perfect place to work, right? WRONG. It's not. Once you get about a week into the job you realize how there is the "mean girl" clique of managers. You would expect to see job advancement, and even though you are promised it, they never go through with it. It's a pick and choose game on who they like that day or week for who gets treated fairly or nicely. I felt bullied by my managers because I was expected to be perfect with little to no training. I remember as a kid when I went to O2B they were a reputable company and now they only care about money and not the kids. Honestly, 0/10 don't recommend unless you're ok with being bullied by grown adults who have no life outside of O2B.

As a first job in child chare, I learned a LOT from O2B Kids and I felt myself grow immensely... and then I felt like I hit a wall. I had goals to grow more within the company but management was not helpful with me achieving the skills and training I desired. Not only did I strive for more and receive very little help, I also was paid poorly. I worked for O2B for three years and was making only 1 cent more than brand new hires. Overall, O2B Kids was a great learning place at first, but I ended feeling abandoned and unappreciated. I ended my employment because I was extremely stressed out (especially with maxed out classrooms) to not feel appreciated enough.
