Sad to bury people but joy in getting there with coworkers & management
Family Service Counselor (Former Employee) – Novi, MI – December 18, 2013
A typical day was to serve at a funeral and ensure that everything was in place from chairs to gravesite items. Be with the family as they go through the process of burial
ALSO, meet with incoming families who are interested in preparing for their final needs, including selecting the desired property and markers. Working with referrals from the families to encourage them to do the same thing so they are not blindsided if and when a catastrophic even occurs.
My co workers were competitive, but very enjoyable. We enjoyed each other and learned from each other. The management was outstanding, supportive, encouraging and educating.
The hardest part of the job was being sad at burials...especially with young children...very hard.
The most enjoyable part was the fun we all had and how we all got along.
The worst part of this was when it was discovered that the owners had been fraudulent with this proper.
We all got along and it was fun to go to work. We were all on the same page
When we found out the owners were fraudulent and we disbanded
