Software Engineer (Current Employee) –  Lexington, MAJuly 27, 2018
This is a good company, you are expected to do your job and they leave you alone. No complaints about management, etc.

Each task order has a lead and usually each program has a program lead. Weekly meetings should occur, but don't,
Pros
Leave you alone
Cons
Need more team meetings, so people know what is going on

Process Engineer III (Current Employee) –  Randolph AFB, TXJuly 26, 2018
I have only been with the company for 5 months; cannot comprehensively review the company at this time. In-processing was simple and directive, benefits are competitive, and pay is very competitive.

Gov't/military contractor
Engineer (Current Employee) –  Langley AFB, VAJune 25, 2018
Company didn't know what they were getting in for when shifting from a non-technical support contract to a technical support contract, and underbid.
They have since worked with the gov't to make things better, and are constantly improving. Benefits improved this year, and small salary increases.
Suffers from the rigidity imposed by gov't contractor requirements. They have adapted and improved, but contracting only has so much room to move within.

Good Starter Job
Security/Logistics Manager (Current Employee) –  Stafford, VAJune 13, 2018
Oasis Systems is a great job for people just starting out in the civilian contractor field. The perks of the job are good. When not on travel for work you work from home. Leadership slacks a lot. There is a my way or the highway type mentality.

Supportive Staff
Sr. Consultant (Current Employee) –  Omaha, NEJune 12, 2018
Oasis is a government contracting organization. They are supportive and do things as their customer requires. I do think Oasis does a great job supporting the customer but if there is a difficult customer, it is hard for them to balance what is right for the customer and for the employee.

Product Support / Acquisitions Specialist (Former Employee) –  Hanscom AFB, MAJune 5, 2018
Stressful job. Never given positive comments by management even after our team won awards. Nice co-workers who helped each other. Worked with vendors which was interesting. Worked on strict deadlines but was at the mercy of others to accomplish the goals.
Pros
Nice co-workers

Mechanical Engineer on AWACS (Current Employee) –  Bedford, MAMarch 28, 2018
Oasis itself is a good company to work for and if you are a solid employee you will never be out of a job. The health insurance is very expensive and since you are a government contractor, your responsibility will be very limited as will the possibility for advancement.
Pros
Stable
Cons
Not as many advancement opportunities

Information Security Analyst (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJanuary 31, 2018
The salary was great, little to no micro management. I had no issues with any of my co-workers from a day to day basis. Plenty of time off per paycheck.

Contract Job
Sr. Systems Engineer (Current Employee) –  Randolph AFB, TXJanuary 11, 2018
The company provides its employees with what is typically expected from contracting company.

But while at OASIS I obtained several important IT certifications. The training and exam costs were funded by the company. I think this is the best benefit I received from OASIS Systems.
Pros
I got a job
Cons
Contract will end soon

Little support rarely provides performance reviews
Systems I&T Engineer (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLFebruary 14, 2017
They provide the basic minimum with a health benefits and a paycheck. Your are lucky if you see a performance review. In y case they were not even aware of my work. During one of the rare performance reviews they gave me credit for work I never performed.

Managers need training.
Analyst/Consultant (Current Employee) –  OhioOctober 14, 2016
Good company, but leads have difficulty communicating effectively. Direct questions about internal procedures for employees are typically not answered productively. Leads do not have much supervisory or management experience, and it shows unfortunately. They also do not tend to promote internally because they have recently taken over large contracts with people that must be placed. Ironically, there are also positions on certain teams that are not backfilled for months causing more employees to leave. Individual experiences vary widely between programs. On the right team in the right program Oasis does well.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
Lack of Properly Trained Leads
