Accountant (Former Employee) – Dulles, VA – August 20, 2018
Great co-workers, flexible schedule depending on your manager, company changes direction frequently, systems need to be updated, great benefits and salary, job security is questionable as there are frequent layoffs (annual) and talented people are let go, little room for advancement in my part of the company and continued to get more work but didn't receive any promotion, learned a lot of from some very talented and smart co-workers
Flexible schedule, benefits are top notch, yearly bonus
Office of Administrative Trails and Hearings (Current Employee) – New York, NY – October 2, 2018
Great place to work, very professional environment. "The system is by no means perfect. Perfection is a never-ending moving target that we strive to reach. But to not continually strive for equal justice is morally unacceptable and socially unsustainable. The fabric of New York City has been evolving for nearly four-hundred years and remains dynamic and OATH will continue to evolve and strive to improve the administration of equality and fairness and justice in the application of the law."
Intern (Current Employee) – Baltimore, MD – September 24, 2018
I haven't worked at many places but Oath by far is one of my favorite place to work at. The place has a lot of amazing benefits and the environment. Everyone that I have met so far has been really helpful.
Principal Product Manager, Senior Manager (Current Employee) – Burlington, MA – September 10, 2018
The company has a good strategy and the pieces in place to succeed. It is also a good place for benefits, work-life balance, & things like free lunches. However, the management is very poor and the funding and resources to succeed in the projects is severely lacking - so the good strategy and plans will never be met.
Data Scientist Intern (Former Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – August 7, 2018
Working hour is very flexible and lunch and dinner is very tasty. My manager is very nice, easy to communicate with. Colleagues are nice too. We work together to build a service prototype, which is very fun.
Excellent place to work, but limited opportunity for contractors
Content Analyst (Former Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – July 23, 2018
Great job culture and management. Environment is friendly for contractors but FT conversion and upward mobility is pretty difficult. You really have to sell yourself, learn new skills and apply for other positions within the company.
Software Development Manager (Current Employee) – Folsom, CA – May 22, 2018
Oath may not have the sexiest brand names in it's stable but the work can be exciting and have the scale that you only get from some of the 'big players' in the space. Depending on the team you are with they allow for innovation and are not too rigid when it comes to platforms and processes. There are good opportunities to grow and learn as well.
Content Writer (Current Employee) – New York, NY – March 18, 2018
I have loved my time at Oath. The people are smart, really care about the company, and there is a ton of potential for the place to grow. You can create your own path and work on a great variety of projects, you just need to take initiative.
Content Analyst & Knowledge Engineer (Former Employee) – New York, NY – December 15, 2017
There is a lot of collaboration between teams and the office culture is inclusive and fun. A lot of employee benefits that are easy to take advantage of. It was always easy to communicate with supervisors and to follow through with projects.
Free lunch, healthcare, volunteer days, paid time off
Transition time for the company means job security isn't as high as it could be
