Auburn - Housekeeper (Former Employee) – Auburn, ME – February 27, 2019
Effective coordination with other housekeepers and CNAs was a necessity nearly every day. The order of our tasks had to be adjusted frequently and often at a moment's notice, for example in accommodation of an unexpected family visit or events taking place in the dining hall. The most difficult part of the job was assisting everyone who needed it, since we would often help coworkers with their work if it was needed and relay messages or items between our coworkers and the residents, many of whom were affected by dementia and physical handicaps. The most enjoyable part of the job was team building and cooperation with my coworkers.
Friendly staff, good structure/management
Most of the positions not managerial or nursing related were seasonal, which offered fewer hours and no benefits to speak of.
