Their pay is not competitive with other facilities, they don't offer the 90 day evaluation and pay raises. They have in the past did what they call an across the board raises in the summer or fall but they barely amount to anything. If they paid the STNA's a Decent Pay they could keep staff. But what we see a reversal in pay it's like we are going back to the early days when stna's was paid hardly anything. We are the front line caregivers, the eyes and ears of the nurses and companions to the residents who mainly see only their aides. I feel they are money hungry and heartless group of individuals who not don't care about the staff, they also don't care about the welfare of their residents. They come around smiling in your face like everything is ok, and it's not. They don't understand the struggle we face out here try to pay our bills and put food on the table for pur families. They go home to their families and they don't think about their employees for real.
I have been there over a year and never received a raise.
