Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARAugust 10, 2018
It's horrible and the conditions are dangerous they don't really train enough to do the job your doing. The breaks aren't long enough and you mostly get one day off during the week so you dont have a lot of down time with your family
Pros
Great insurance
Cons
Short breaks and not alot of time for fun on the weekends

Had great bosses, friendly environment, fair pay and benefits. I would work for OK Foods again if I went back to Fort Smith. I liked my Monday through Friday job.

If you like ok pay for hard work, then this place is for you.
PIE operator ( Forklift, Power Jack) (Current Employee) –  Heavener, OKAugust 1, 2018
Be prepared for a fast paced work environment. Be ready to be placed in cold weather. Be prepared to work hard. Be prepared to be thrown into the mix with little to no training. No paid time off, slow advancement, and a cut throat work place. The new point system is ridiculous and people often point out quickly. Production based work place and attitudes to boot. Dont miss too many days of work, this and this alone cost you any chance for advancements or transfering to other depts. Good luck.

Stressful under staffed and poor management due to favortisim and dishonesty on plant managers behalf good entry level employees
Rehanger (Former Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARJuly 27, 2018
It was a good job just poor management and dishonesty towards employees the management had very little to do with employees and over seeing production some employees were favored over others and allowed more time on breaks less questioned about unauthorized breaks over all the plant managers and leads were irresponsible with employee needs and expectations unless you were on a personal level or after work friends with leads or supervisors or related

Maintenance (Current Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARJuly 24, 2018
Not a job anyone would like to keep for long. It's work environment is kinda bad. As maintenance in plant one blood, chicken feces, and heat were a norm.

Ok Foods was an okay place to work.
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Fort Smith, ARJuly 18, 2018
They are constantly lacking the proper amount of people. Easy to get a job here but they will work you until they can't get anymore out of you. Constantly moving people away from their positions to be put on the line due to lack of people.

Expectations change daily. Keep your head on a swivel.
Production Superintendent (Former Employee) –  Oklahoma City, OKMay 9, 2018
Expectations change daily, keep your head on a swivel. Compensation too low to justify the hours and work. Company does not value its members as much as they would like you to believe.
