It's generally good. People seem to expect you to be really peppy and positive all the time, but that's just Oklahoma for you. Fervent school spirit is expected even from staff. No other university I have seen has so omnipresent a fixation on their mascot. People here get riled up if you say you don't get why Pistol Pete has to be plastered all over every surface in Stillwater. I find it bizarre but to each their own I suppose.
