Utility Technician (Current Employee) –  Louisville, KYOctober 31, 2018
Company vehicle a definite bonus. I don't think that they had a full scope of what was all involved in the contract. Management turnover was frequent. However the person who was over the division that I worked in was great. The job is outside so dealing with the elements can be a challenge. The thing is I enjoy being outside year round so it is not a problem.

Very racist against minorities
meter reader (Former Employee) –  Noblesville, INOctober 19, 2018
Very racist against minorities. Management not professional at all. Favoritism with family and friends. For a professional establishment they were not very professional. Nor would they look out for their employees well fare. Their employees vehicles were not working right, lights would be out, wipers not working, engines not running right, though they made you drive them anyways unsafe.

Enjoyed working there for the most part. Working over 50 hours every week is required so you have to be ready for that. Paid gas and a working reliable truck will be provided as well.
Pros
Paid gas and work vehicle

awful place
Meter Reader (Former Employee) –  Marion, ARAugust 14, 2018
they pay by piece pay like 40 cents or lower some range a little higher. The manager is a demon! Once you finish your route they want you to start taking other people routes which is so messed up! They work you to death for little pay. In order to get paid time off it has to be approved first which is hard to do bc everyone's route is required to be caught up.

none

A job that paid bills but had no protection in the field. Management team does not follow guidelines that were set forth during initial hiring process.

Meter Reader (Former Employee) –  Louisville, KYJune 19, 2018
Make good money. But if you get hurt, you will end up getting fired. Does not matter if it is a accident or not. You walk around 8-15 miles everyday.

Poor upper management, long hours and a lot of un needed stress
Locate Technician (Current Employee) –  Denver, COApril 19, 2018
Upper Management is terrible, they have absolutely no industry experience and promotions are based off of who they like not by experience or job performance. You will be expected to work 6-7 days a week and a minimum of 9 hours or more a day. Health care is so expensive all of your overtime will be deducted and go towards that. Dispatchers are afraid of contractors and call you while you’re in the field and basically haras you to make a contractor happy thus, making you fall even ferther Behind on your already giant work load and add extra stress. But if you do not have a personal life and you want to make a lot of money quickly and insurance isn’t an issue this place has the potential to make you a pretty good amount of money in a short period of time.
Pros
A lot of over time when wanted
Cons
You are forced to work overtime upper management is horrible.
