Guess who's back?! Reasonably priced date tip #2! 👫👬👭⁣
⁣
Check out some of the coupon sites online such as Groupon for new and adventures date ideas. You'll likely find something you hadn't considered, like a hot balloon ride or canoeing trip, at a very reasonable price! ⁣

❤️❤️❤️
Saving money doesn't mean saving yourself from new memories and experiences. Dating is one of those experiences. Whether it's a first or thousandth date, you deserve to enjoy those special moments together. ⁣
⁣
So, I've decided to launch the 'REASONABLY PRICED DATE' series (inspired by one of our previous blog posts at olievbranchfin.com). No, not cheap. I don't like the way that sounds. Let's reasonably balance your checkbook and romantic relationship over the next couple weeks. 😉⁣
⁣
Idea #1: Spring is here and the flowers are blooming! 🌷🌻💐 Get outside and enjoy the warming weather with your loved one. Grab some snacks, maybe a bottle of wine, and a blanket. Then head out to your local park or beach. Make it an even better time by bringing a frisbee, soccer ball, or deck of cards. ⁣
What do you think of when you hear 'Spring'? Setting aside flowers and warming weather, we think of Spring Cleaning.
Consider doing some 'spring cleaning' with your finances. Cancel unnecessary subscriptions, sell old items, and figure out a budget that works for you. 💐
Habit No. 1 Frugality ⁣
Frugality means you spend less than you earn. Most millionaires are able to ignore the temptation to buy a bigger house, newer car, latest tech gadget and so on. ⁣
⁣
Habit No. 2 Discipline⁣
Self-made millionaires are also disciplined. They choose moderation over extremes. If they buy a luxury car, it’s often a used one. You’re unlikely to find them living in the most expensive, elaborate house on the block. Slow and steady wins the race.⁣
⁣
Habit No. 3 Hard Work⁣
Another defining characteristic of many millionaires is their work ethic. Money wasn’t handed to them on a silver platter. It’s incredibly difficult to build long-term wealth yourself if you’ve relied solely on handouts from parents or other family members. Millionaires profiled in Dr. Fallaw’s book are willing to roll up their sleeves, launch businesses or stick it out in high-paying careers until they’re financially independent.⁣
⁣
Habit: No. 4 Time Management⁣
Effective allocation of time, energy and resources is another guiding trait of self-made millionaires. Even if hiring an outside financial adviser, a millionaire still monitors the family budget and ensures the investment portfolio matches the level of risk taken. He or she takes the role of household CFO seriously.
Some of the obvious things like planning around sales and buying in bulk can save a lot of money. We'll cover those, but I think the biggest factor to save money when shopping is not to buy things based on what other people think. This goes for everything; what you eat, what you drive. Here's a breakdown of some of the basics:⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Plan your meals ahead of time. This will help you avoid impulse buys and unnecessary grocery shopping. ⁣
⁣
2️⃣ Plan around sales. Check out the sales going on at your local grocery store before planning your meals. See what nutritious and tasty items are on sale.⁣
⁣
3️⃣ When it makes sense, buy in bulk. It's not always a great choice to buy in bulk (shout out to the 5 jars of almond butter in my pantry). With items like toilet paper or nonperishable, bulk can save you a pretty penny.⁣
⁣
4️⃣ Use coupons. You don't need to drive yourself crazy going down the rabbit hole of coupon clipping. However, a quick skim of the weekly coupons can end up saving you some serious money. Look for in-store and online coupons. You can also consider downloading apps like Ibotta to maximize your savings.
