Yes, the store I worked at was very flexible. Not to mention you could give up/pick up shifts as needed.

Been working there about 4 months. In the kitchen we have a few people with bright pink/and bleached white hair but I don't think servers are allowed to (at least I haven't seen any). I myself as well as a few other servers have visible tattoos so I think that policy's been changed since some of these answers
