If organized, you can do it
Family Intervention Specialist Case Manager (Current Employee) –  Knoxville, TNMarch 26, 2019
Fun job. Wish I had more training in the beginning. Coworkers are awesome. It is hard to work alone sometimes because of the low accountability. Need self discipline.

Staff (Current Employee) –  Knoxville, TNFebruary 14, 2019
OCH is a growing organization that is working to develop themselves as a company. The work culture varies across offices. Hopefully they will continue to learn and develop.

Very sad
care coordinator (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNJanuary 16, 2019
Company changed over the years. New leadership in Nashville doesn’t seem to know about the mental health business or care about how decisions impacted us. If you don’t agree you’re seen as a bad egg and just need to go.
Pros
Flexible hours
Cons
Management, pay, health insurance awful

Great place to start your healthcare career. It can be very stressful but working with families is a ways exciting. You never know what someone is going through.

Made memories
Clinical Therapist (Current Employee) –  Knoxville, TNNovember 12, 2018
Overall, the people there will be missed. It was like a family. Although most would agree that the pay does not fully compensate the amount of time we put in, the people there do make the difference.

Supportive
Senior Case Manager (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNSeptember 26, 2018
The supervisors are supportive and encouraging. The benefits are not that great. Health insurance has a high premium and there is no 401k match. Good amount of flexibility.
Pros
supportive leadership, flexibility with hours
Cons
low pay and benefits

Good Deeds job with Stress and low pay/benefits
Family Intervention Specialist (Current Employee) –  Kingston, TNSeptember 25, 2018
This company is new and has its flaws due to not having the revenue to pay employees better, but you can make your schedule as long as you get your hours in. You have to have 25 face time hours to get full transportation benefits each week and there is no mileage, no cell, no computer, no office supplies, no real solid training and this class of clients are hard to get com pliancy. If you still get to the set session you scheduled and they aren't there, you get nothing but regular pay. You get regular pay up till you get over 25 hours face time and then you get an additional $25 an hour on top of you pay. If you work over time, they only pay half of your hourly pay along with your $25. This is not acceptable.
Management is amazing and having to go to Kingston each month from Chattanooga is a waste of time when you could be seeing clients. They need to have gotomeetings on-line instead.

An employee culture where employees are expected to work overtime and not compensated, are treated worse than clients are treated, and where effort is not recognized.

Front Office Assistant (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNJune 19, 2018
It is a good starter for any one beginning in mental therapy. Not a company you can make a career with. High turn over rate for therapists in this position

Trauma-Focused Clinician (Current Employee) –  Cleveland, TNJune 17, 2018
It is hard to review a company where you are almost like your own boss. There is flexibility and someone to debrief always. Every office environment is different and cannot judge any other office but the one where I am right now. We have created a culture of support for each other.
Pros
flexibility
Cons
high caseload
