The company is thorough in their interviews. First meeting with the HR Recruiter, then meeting the HIring Manager, followed by their Leader, and then on to filling out background and references. While the process can be a bit longer than a typical restaurant job, I actually really enjoyed meeting everyone that I would be working with on a daily basis, that way when I started there weren't any surprises. The process might be a little longer than non-corporate jobs, but it insured both parties (them and myself) were happy and both wanted to move forward. Shout out to the Omni Nashville team!

At first they give you the 1st month or 3 good hours till summer's around the corner and they cut hours like crazy. I've worked one day a week for only 4 hours.... I even had a coworker that didn't work for 2 weeks. It's bad here. Unless your a manager or a shift leader your ok with your hours other than that no one gets full time hours.

The cooking staff are amazing coworkers to be with other the that a lot of people are stuck up. The property is beautiful. Its just the people, some managers sucks. If it's not their way that's it, they cut your hours or let you go without explanation

After you fill out background and references it is usually a few days to 1 week at max. What people don't realize is the background check is all subject to where YOU'VE lived. Some counties actually have to file clerk to pull the records and send them to the company, rather than being electronic - if that's the case, then you can guarantee they're doing their best to light a fire under that county, but it could be several weeks. Not Omin's fault, just the small county you once lived in.
