I applied online on indeed from a laptop. I was invited via email to a hiring event. I showed up to the event w/resume. They did not look at my resume (I'm glad because it's already w/my app). There was 2 rounds of interviews. Then I was given my offer in another pseudo-round which was contingent upon completion of my background check. Then after receiving my background check they called me for my references. After calling all my references they confirmed that I got the job and my start day is a a week away as a part-time hostess. The whole process has taken about a month.

I highly suggest completing your application on a desktop/laptop. People who applied by phone were turned away because the app was not complete. Also it was suggested for me to do my on-boarding paperwork via desktop too.

I really hate to say it.... but my interviewer wasn't the best. She hadn't informed me (nor listed on the job posting) that it was seasonal work. I had to ask her what availability they were looking for, *3 separate times* at the end of the interview. You could tell English wasn't her native langauge, which made the conversation somewhat difficult.
Then I was offered a much lower starting pay than I was expecting. (My current job pays more). By this point, I was just sitting through the interview, being polite and waiting for her to be done so I could leave. Next thing I know, she's handing me papers to sign, for the hiring process without asking if I even wanted the job.
That was the first time I've ever walked out on an interview. I still cringe to this day.

The HR staff is cordial and professional. I saw two people in two days. Lots of questions. The background check information process is arduous and MUST be done on a computer. I used my notebook and wanted to stomp on it several times over the almost 2 hours it took to fill it out. I spoke to another applicant who felt the same way.

The company is thorough in their interviews. First meeting with the HR Recruiter, then meeting the HIring Manager, followed by their Leader, and then on to filling out background and references. While the process can be a bit longer than a typical restaurant job, I actually really enjoyed meeting everyone that I would be working with on a daily basis, that way when I started there weren't any surprises. The process might be a little longer than non-corporate jobs, but it insured both parties (them and myself) were happy and both wanted to move forward. Shout out to the Omni Nashville team!
