If money is the only thing important
production (Current Employee) –  Auburn, PAApril 18, 2019
Then this is the place to work. If you just want to make a lot of money you will do that here. Just be forewarned you will live here to do so. They say how great their shifts are but be prepared because you will need to work a lot of your scheduled days off doing so.

On a positive note, if you need a lot of time off they have a very generous call off policy allowing most employees the time off but making everyone else cover the overtime this causes.

Corporate has gone through 3-4 Director of Operations in as many years. In one of their last ideas they left 2 long term employees in charge of production who had nothing to do with production. You can see how that is working since they can no longer retain employees, and the few long term employees left are starting to walk out.

Auburn cannot seem to get ahead in having employees since turnover is so high. This not only happens to the hourly workforce but the salary workforce too. At one time you needed to know someone me to get a job here and people we're begging no for a job like this. That kind of culture is no longer possible with the current management.

Constant Reorganization and complete chaos
Manufacturing Facility Employee (Former Employee) –  Mogadore, OHMarch 6, 2018
This is not a culture or work environment I would recommend unless you enjoy working yourself to an unhealthy state while being constantly criticized by human resources and berated by management. Management is constantly changing, and changing the rules. Goal setting is near impossible and goals often conflict with each other. The customer needs seem to come second to last, right after the employees. This is not a safe or sustainable work environment for a manufacturing facility. This is not a company that values their talent or experience.
Pros
Pto, good steady paycheck
Cons
Culture and work environment intolerable.

Big and Small at the Same Time
Associate Applications Engineer (Former Employee) –  Akron, OHMay 22, 2012
A highly diverse organization if lots of wonderful people I am happy to call friends. It seems the organization is still suffering from a culture shock, due to acquisitions and inconsistent management styles. It lends to confusion and disparity.

The hardest part of the job is managing the daily workload. Often requests come from several sources with little apparent organization or structure. The company behaves very small in the micro-level, burdening employees with disparate assignments that do not mesh. It also behaves very big on the corporate level, which provides an overlord perception.

The most enjoyable part of the job is succeeding for so long in such a confusing environment.
Pros
diverse workplace, opportunity to learn new skills and talents, extremely wonderful people
Cons
perception often overrides reality
