Hours are long, schedules constantly changing.


I work 4-6 hours a week and only 3-4 days a week.


The shifts to try to get are the opening server or closing server. You will make the most hours and cash. Opening bartender probably makes the most money every day with the exception of closing servers in a Friday or Saturday night. Ok bartenders make less then opening for the fact that they have to have 2 on per shift. The tips are split and allocated at the end of the night. So if you didn’t close you would pick up your tips on your next shift.


Yes they do pay overtime if their employees are working more than 40 hours per week, although they try their best to keep them under that.
