Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Phlebotomist in One Medical
Good clinical experience, mediocre pay
Phlebotomist (Former Employee) - Sunnyvale, CA - March 23, 2021
You learn a lot in this position outside of the normal phlebotomist role (ear lavage, ekg, med/vaccine inject, etc), but the pay and benefits aren't that good. Very tecj focused, which does make it much easier to communicate with coworkers, but hourly employees are usually over worked and under appreciated.
Pros
Learn new skills, great coworkers
Cons
Not so great management, low pay/benefits

If you have the right manager, AMAZING COMPANY!
Phlebotomist (Current Employee) - Arizona - December 30, 2018
Unfortunately, the manager I worked with had a complete disregard for OSHA standards and it made it too difficult to work with. You WILL be underpaid, but the raise schedule is decent. If you need healthcare benefits, this is a great place to work.
You are told that there are "great advancement opportunities" but then after hire, it comes out that those opportunities are 5-15 years down the road. If you try to move around within the company like they say you can, you are met with pushback.
Pros
hour lunch, paid trips for training and team involvement
Cons
work outside your scope, poor management support

Great coworkers, poor work/life balance.
Phlebotomist (Current Employee) - New York, NY - December 9, 2018
If you work here you will love everyone that you work with. Unfortunately, the pay is not enough to allow you to live in the area that you work. Additionally, the hours are long and you will not have time outside of work to get anything done.
