Lovely place to work, excellent training!
Teller (Former Employee) –  Glendale, AZJuly 31, 2018
Would go back to work for them in a heartbeat. The employees were fantastic to work with and the members made coming to work an absolute blessing. Can’t say anything bad about the company.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZJuly 9, 2018
Working at the branch is great. You meet new people everyday and get to help out with their everyday needs. The company is currently upgrading their system which I can't wait for. It is your typical banking but on a more personal level since we are only in Arizona.
Pros
Pto, 401k, Co-workers, Meeting new people
Cons
pay could be better

Outdated banking system
MCC (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZApril 3, 2018
Outdated banking system. Lack of new ideas and updates. If you like using faxes and writing letters this CU is for you. No growth for better opportunities. Blind leading the blind
Pros
candy wall, no weekends
Cons
no growth, outdated, poorly ran

No support, no training, favoritism, and quick to fire. Incompetent management throws employees under the bus instead of owning their own lies and mistakes.

Average with room for growth
Member Care Representative (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZNovember 30, 2017
Company was fairly standard for a Financial Institution. Management was a mixed bag, as with most companies. The head of the department was extremely understanding and helpful, but the floor managers would encourage questions and offer assistance until they were in fact called upon. This made actually seeking assistance to feel like a burden and greatly increased the stress that comes with a call center position.
Pros
Free Candy bar, good benefits
Cons
Shift managers allow stress to affect their performance too frequently.

OneAz is a great company to work with. I really enjoyed how the company focused on me and how i progressed during my stay with the company, they are very flexible with your schedule and i really hate that i had to leave under certain circumstances.

Avoid this place
Underwriter (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZSeptember 28, 2017
Pros- Candy Bins & First Aid Kit
Cons- Management doesn't know what they are doing. Director shops all day and has her favs. Stingy with taking time off and only get 2 weeks off. Pay sucks, bonus is not a bonus it's to take your family to McDonalds.

Teller I (Former Employee) –  Prescott Valley, AZSeptember 5, 2017
Great training program. Everyone is always extending a hand to make sure you feel comfortable in what your doing. Lots of room for growth, manager is always straight forward and very encouraging

Would never go back
Universal Banker (Former Employee) –  Scottsdale, AZJuly 24, 2017
The lack of diversity acceptance in the work place was unbearable. Never have I worked in an environment were I feared expressing myself. Although I loved my members, the branch life was absolutely horrid.
Pros
Pto
Cons
No respect for personal time, not flexable

Great Hours, Not Great Benefits
Associate (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZJune 14, 2017
OneAZ has great hours that make work life balance easy. However, the benefits are not great (PTO, pay), the company is slow to change/upgrade, and new ideas are not often implemented.
Pros
Great hours
Cons
Low compensation and benefits

High paced job that requires a skill of multi tasking
Financial Service Representative III (Current Employee) –  Safford, AZMay 30, 2017
Typical day at work is very high paced. Alot of things happening all at once. You need to be a very good multi tasker. Hardest part of this job is it is high traffic so you are constantly on the go. Most enjoyable is being able to help the customers (members) and to meet their needs.

Fantastic Place to Work
Technical Writer (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZFebruary 20, 2017
The culture at OneAZ Credit Union is paralleled by startup companies. The mantra is "associate focused, member centered." The benefits are wonderful, the amenities in the corporate break room are wonderful, and the co-workers are very driven and interested in making lasting relationships--not only with members--but also with fellow associates.

Good coworkers
Vice President Business Development (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZSeptember 20, 2016
Constant change and using too many consulting firms to dictate marketing strategies. Lots of turnover with a startup Business Team. Went through a name change and a tough period to get deals done.
