Avoid the COBRA department
COBRA Administrator (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAJanuary 31, 2019
OneDigital as a company is great, however the COBRA department is a subsidiary and is run very differently. There are only 2 FT employees and 1 PT employee to handle COBRA for all clients, which leads to the team being extremely overworked and constantly pushed to its limit, working overtime often and skipping lunches. On top of that the manager is not very aware of what is going on in her department, and is of no help when asked for any assistance. I have even heard other employees say "No one cares about the COBRA team". It is sad to see the OneDigital side being run so efficiently, while COBRA suffers. There is no work life balance in this department. It is a constant state of being stressed and unappreciated. I really hope they make the necessary changes for this department.
Pros
Friendly coworkers, free lunches, fun work events.
Cons
Pay, workload, management.

OneDigital has a special group of people who work there. They genuinely care about each other and care about their clients and the success of the company.

OneDigital isn't the best about promoting once you are employed. It is a great work place, and I had some amazing team members. If you are looking for growth potential, it may need to be somewhere else. It is very hard to move once you are placed in a position.

They sell you a dream and then dont follow through
Finance (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 9, 2018
They claim to be all about career advancement but it is very easy to plateau in a position and have no place to grow. Management seems immature and uninterested in the goals of their employees. They are comfortable with not changing.

Management disconnected
Benefits Consultant (Former Employee) –  IllinoisApril 17, 2018
Upper management seemed disconnected to field employees, putting the employee needs last. Very poor support from departments and upper management despite how well you do your job. Willing to throw you under the bus if it suits their needs.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Poor leadership, lack of foresight, poor support

Not What I Expected
Health and Benefits, Senior Benefits Consultant (Former Employee) –  Noblesville, INMarch 22, 2018
I think the company is good overall. The position for which I was hired, as Benefit Consultant for Indiana, was not as developed as I expected. It was not a positive experience for me, but i can see how other positions within the company would have been fun. I enjoyed my two visits to the home office. It was beautiful and very modern. If given the chance, I would have enjoyed going there to work each day.

Work overload, not enough manager support. Corp needs to better understand the workload they are putting on their employees. Managers are also overloaded with work and that is another issue in itself.
