Makes No Sense
Development (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXAugust 16, 2018
Core values should not just be a picture you hang on a wall. This company used to live by them and now they hide behind them.
Exceptions are all over the place with ego running amok, forward thinking is ridiculed, and hard work is ignored.

I believed in this company one, I really did. But seeing good people trampled on, and then quit, while bad and unqualified people are promoted has changed my mind.

The company was 'excited' to announce PTO and annual review changes and it wound up costing employees PTO who saved time from previous years or lost wages due to earned raises that were paid out 2 months after they were supposed to be.
Pros
Reasonable Pay Flexibility on Work Schedule Work/Life balance better than it used to be.
Cons
Values are like swiss cheese with Exceptions all over the place, Chances for career growth are limited on geographic location, Management does not listen to its employees. They see 50% approval and pat themselves on the back, Major changes to PTO and review processes that cost employees, People who make many mistakes and/or unqualified are promoted, Decisions made by the company make little, A lot of turnover, A lot of Executive management turnover past 18 months, No sense of direction

This Company Cares
Tax Training Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Coppell, TXJuly 31, 2018
I had only been working at OneSource for two months when I learned I had serious disease that was in the end-stage. OneSource provided me with medical insurance even after I was unable to work any longer. Great company that actually cares about employees and went above and beyond in my case!

Toxic and Lost Culture
Analyst (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXJune 19, 2018
I've been with the organization for over 7 years now and I've seen a once caring and values driven organization erode over time to a heartless and valueless company where employees live in constant fear for their jobs and leadership only focuses on their own personal interests. The company has never been the same since the original founders and leaders left and new leadership plus investors stepped in and completely destroyed everything the company stands for. The organization has built their entire business practice around one partnership (Workday) and the success of the business rides on winning over Workday Sales' reps and hoping that Workday continues to do well in the market. Unfortunately, other larger partners have more favor in the ecosystem and OneSource Virtual is left with the table scraps that they are thrown. You'll see plenty of job listings as there is currently a mass exodus of senior employees. Be warned, this company will not be around in the next year or two.
Pros
Plenty of time to look for a new job
Cons
Horrible leadership, so much corporate politics, and lost values

OSV is a great company to work for and has huge potential in the market place.
CHRO (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXMarch 20, 2018
OSV has undergone a transformation in a few short year,s from a start up company of a few employees to a private equity controlled company having almost 1000 employees in the US and UK. It is one of the top 5 Workday Services Partners and is the clear leader in providing BPaaS solutions in Payroll, Benefits, Accounts Payables to Workday Customers. OSV is the first company to invent the Business Process as a Service approach to administer services by sharing the Workday Tenent with their customers to access data and share the business process required to process transactions in a secure environment. in spite of the fast growth OSV has built a culture focused on developing its employees and equipping them with the tools to provide exceptional services to their customers.
Pros
Career opportunities are abundant
Cons

Improvement Needed
Payroll Tax Specialist (Current Employee) –  Irving, TexasMarch 11, 2018
Management needs improvement in Payroll Tax, AMS, Fulfillment, and Implementation. They do not work as a team and will throw you under the bus for personal gain. Staff gets away with not working, keeping the environment hostile, and taking 10 to 15 breaks within 8 hours. Supervisors do not hold staff accountable because they are too busy in manager’s office talking about staff or how to sabotage other departments. Special privileges and higher performance ratings are given to staff because of nepotism. An overhaul of restructuring is needed for each department. Some managers are in the wrong role and have no idea how to manage a department. Implementation needs to setup new companies accurate so payroll and taxes can be paid correctly. A complete audit is needed for the way Analytics balances taxes so force balancing can stop; supervisor does not lead his team but instead leaves with girlfriend co-worker for hours each day and walks around as troublemaker. Company as a hold will not address behavior issues unless you are a minority. They will only move you to another position or under new manager. It is a matter of time before a lawsuit is filed for nepotism.
Pros
Parking garage, Pto, and food.
Cons
Poor leadership, no merits or bonus, negative moral, nepotism throughout company.

Ever Changing and Fast Paced
Professional Services (Current Employee) –  Irving, TXMarch 1, 2018
The company is reliant on Workday, so if Workday does poorly, so does OneSource.

Vacation benefits are good. Health benefits are average. 401k matching is sub-par.

Constant organization changes cause confusion and miscommunication. Compensation is below average for the ecosystem.

Looks good on the outside
Payroll Specialist (Current Employee) –  Coppell, TXFebruary 4, 2018
The company overall is good. They need to review their choices in management. Management is very inexperienced and not professional at all. The payroll tax department is the worst. The manager there is threatening and loves to play games with her employees. Nothing professional at all. The company has been made aware of her attitude and tactic and still choose to keep her around. The overall culture of the company is great. Too bad they cant keep good employees around because of management. For it to be such a growing an innovative company there is too much bickering among management. The managers can not get along and are divided. If you go to work there, DO NOT WORK IN THE PAYROLL TAX DEPARTMENT. UNPROFESSIONAL!
Pros
There is a lot of work and makes the day go by fast
Cons
Management - specifically in the Payroll Tax department

Worst place to work at
Contract - Talent Acquisition Specialist (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXSeptember 6, 2017
it was the worst working environment to work at. You never knew when your manager will take away your job as there was no job security at OneSource Virtual. The leadership was horrible at managing their employees.

Basic terms of a used car salesman. Anything to get you in but fails to maintain afterwards. Lack of management in a professional environment contributes to a high turnover rate.

OSV is a super place to work.
COBRA Specialist (Current Employee) –  Coppell, TXJanuary 29, 2017
You go in you work and you're busy all day -not enough time to get the job done!! They buy lunch frequently for employees. You get almost 23 days of vacation!! What I have learned is very valuable as they do have quite an integral system. They have great management, great culture and job security but it is a call center.
Pros
my hours
Cons
lots of vacation time.

I enjoy working at One Source
Managed Payroll Specialist (Current Employee) –  Mesa, AZ 85215July 31, 2016
Requires self motivation and direction. Every day there is something new to learn and unique challenges in performing the job. Management has mandated lots of manual tracking projects that I think could better be done by the software systems, and I think they are moving in that direction. The work/life balance is great, benefits are great, people are great.

I started off doing benefit administration. I now have added to that: helpdesk support. This was not expected, but change happens rapidly in the business world and it's an adjustment.

Pto
Cons
Growth opportunities are limited.
