Worst Management EVER
Deployment Manager (Former Employee) –  Virginia Beach, VAAugust 1, 2018
Run FAR FAR away from the Disaster Relief department of Operation Blessing. The turnover rater is massive due to management. People have quit after 1 day and those that do stay usually quit after a few months. Seriously, it is quite possibly the worst place to work for and does not follow their mission or Christian values whatsoever. I've never witness such evil from those professing to work for a Christian organization.

Excellent environment
Special Projects Manager (Former Employee) –  Virginia Beach, VADecember 25, 2017
A truly great place to work. Supportive environment, room to grow and different positions to move into if available. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was developing new programs, and traveling through the US.
Pros
New challenges, travel
Cons
Getting laid off

Not a good place to work
Team Member (Former Employee) –  Virginia Beach, VASeptember 22, 2017
Extreme daily micromanagement to the smallest and most tedious of details.
Manic like behavior and actions from the leadership.
A daily sense of worry over unhealthy employment environment and job security being threatened.
Very high turnover rate at every position.
Management doesn't care about its people, you are just a number.
The image to the Public and its Donors of the management and brand is job number one over the stated mission and the intended purpose of the organization.
Massive waste of donor given financial resources due to self aggrandizing and poorly lead leadership.
Sadness permeates the team behind closed doors.
Change the leadership. Things look good from the outside but it is very dysfunctional on the inside. Solve the very high turnover rate by removing the micro managers and poor motivators at the helm. It could be a truly impactful organization if those that are hired were allowed to use their creativity and leadership abilities. The exact opposite is true, leaving those hired feeling like they are victims of a "bait and switch" situation. It was the most uncomfortable and odd employment environment I have ever encountered. I have true regret for having ever agreed to employment there.
