The concept of helping people makes this feel like a great place to work, you do help people which is very rewarding personally, the upper management does not listen to concern on stafffing issues and mid mangers are considered except so their is no overtime.

Terrible place to work with poor management
Facilities Director (Former Employee) –  Georgetown, TXJanuary 22, 2018
Worked there for over a year, donated countless things, was never given a negative remark. The leadership (particularly the board and Executive Director) are cut throat and could care less about anyone that works for them. In the year I worked there I had 3 terrible bosses...

Youre forced to use your personal vehicle

Exciting place to work - New Leadership bringing organization forward
Accounts Payable (Current Employee) –  Georgetown, TXSeptember 27, 2015
Working for a non-profit organization like WBCO gives you a peace at heart knowing whatever your role, you are contributing to helping seniors get healthy meals and connect with others, those in needs of economic assistance and bringing assistance to the smallest of us thru education of minds and hearts by working with children birth to 5 in tandem with families. All the employees I have the privilege of working with, show their heart and truly feel they are making a difference in the communities we serve.
Pros
Lots of opportunity for growth
Cons
Non-Profit Organizations in general have lots paperwork - "red-tape"
