Massaging cancer patients
Written by Licensed Massage Therapist (Current Employee) from Portland, OR on July 29, 2018
I work a four hour shift massaging cancer patients in their rooms. It's careful and mindful work that requires solid communication, investigative and collaborative skills with the staff and the patients. It requires patience, flexibility and good time management skills as your day may not go as planned. Hardest part - bearing witness to pain and suffering. - more ... Most enjoyable - being the best part of someone's day. - less
ProsCollaboration with staff
ConsNot having enough time to meet needs on the floor
