Come prepared and be professional no matter what position you are applying for. Take pride in yourself. It's not a social meeting in a bar. You are a healthcare professional! Know what the OSF mission is and be able to speak to it. Have goals beyond just gaining employment. Be ready to commit to working and having a career. Everything you do links back to being a community of care givers and being a Mission Partner.
Practice basic interview questions prior to interviewing. You can find so many examples online and many of those icebreaker questions were used. You can also check your status on the career site to see if you are no longer under consideration. I called the manager a little after I interviewed to thank her and follow up.
