Work & Life Balance

Great place for the Flexible and Driven
I started here as a Foreman and have been working for Osmose for almost four years, I've seen a lot of people come and go. This company gave me an opportunity that changed my life. There's not many places that will give you a truck with a gas card, all the tools and supplies you need, 10 weeks of paid training and the ability to make six figures a year with no experience and minimal education. This place does that. In return you will have to work hard in rough conditions, travel, be flexible and meet their minimum standards. It's like running a franchise, you hire your own crew, set your schedule and get paid what you earn. You MUST be self driven and have integrity, Osmose will give you everything you need to be successful but it's up to you to get the job done right. If you're a quitter or think you should get paid just for showing up, don't bother wasting everyone's time. If you're willing to work hard to earn what you're worth, enjoy a challenge, problem solving, working outside and are ok with travel this may be perfect for you.

This company only cares about money. Constantly on you about hitting “production” and if you don’t they will replace you. Company needs to reevaluate how they do everything. They set you up for failure!

Overall just a horrible place to work, supervisors are really bad at keeping an eye on employees and safety wise could care less and will never work or refer anyone to work there. Lots of drugs and drinking and never a safe day on the job site..

I definitely loved working here... but things can change over night..people who’s supposed to be supervising DONT know what’s going on..I mean learn what you can get in and get out..and always at the end of the year you’ll be home so enjoy

Job was very labor intensive, which wasn't really my concern. Upper management was the worst part about the job, very unorganized company to work for.
